Data Deletion

You can delete your CXO data at any time, through any of the channels below. We aim to complete every deletion within 30 days and confirm completion to you by email.
How to request deletion
Email privacy@cxo.ai from the address on your account, with the subject "Data Deletion Request". We confirm receipt within 24 hours and complete the deletion within 30 days.
If you connected CXO through Facebook or Instagram, you can revoke access from those platforms' settings. Doing so triggers Meta's data-deletion callback, which CXO handles automatically. You'll receive a confirmation code and can check progress at any time.
On Facebook: Settings → Business Integrations → CXO → Remove.
On Instagram: Settings → Apps and Websites → CXO → Remove.
A self-serve deletion option inside CXO settings is on the roadmap. Until it ships, email is the fastest path.
What gets deleted
- Your account, profile, and login credentials.
- Brand inputs, references, and uploaded assets.
- Generated creative, drafts, and chat history.
- Connected-platform access tokens and OAuth credentials.
- Webhook event payloads associated with your connected accounts.
- Any copies in our backup systems within their normal rotation window.
What we keep, and why
- Billing records — kept up to 7 years where required by US tax and audit law. They contain your billing identity (name, address) and transaction history, not your account content.
- Logs that don't identify you — anonymized server logs may persist in rotation for up to 90 days for security and abuse prevention.
- Records we're legally required to keep — for example, in response to an active investigation or subpoena.
Checking the status of your request
When you submit a deletion request through Facebook or Instagram, we issue a confirmation code. You can check the status of that request at:
